![]() There are no high details in the game ( or maby you can tell me some high details) planets have bad texture and are basic, npc arent high detailed, citys are beutiful but dont have a lot of detail. What do you mean a this stage? They are double the time late and it is still empty and full of bugs. And they dont want tons for you to play a alpha. No Games in Development are at this stage ( at the beginning ) with that much time and support. The game has been worked on for 10 years. Now i am getting sick of all you delusional people. Whereas with the Corsair I have to wait til it goes on sale again (Drake day in IAE) to get a CCU to the Corsair so I can apply the MSR upgrade. MIS so could apply it as soon as MSR was flyable if I wanted it. The MIS ($50) was more expensive than Corsair CCU ($10) but I already have. That’s why I have two CCUs for MSR in my hanger, from the MIS and Corsair. You’d definitely want this for a ship that’s near being flight ready otherwise you’ll be sitting around with a CCU that you can’t necessarily apply. If you don’t mind a little more cost, it’s sometimes better to get a CCU and upgrade from a ship that’s always available (like the $310 constellation Aquila in this case) so that you don’t have to wait to apply the upgrade. ![]() You can see what’s limited availability and permanent (can buy at any time) at this wiki link. The issue is upgrading to the Starfarer Gemini in this case since its a limited ship so not on sale all the time. Pretty much every ship is on sale during the IAE so you can lock in any CCU you want now (like Starfarer to Merchantman). ![]() Yes, the cheapest placeholder that you can upgrade from to the ship you want, so whatever is closest in value to the ship you’re upgrading to in order to keep the cost lowest. Yet another 100$ increase over last year. Way more than I should, but I was still ok with it. In a game that's been in development for way too much and that is still a ways off, but I wanted to give some money to help along. I had the cash, I had the Rataliator to melt, I would get a virtual ship in a game. So yesterday I was sort of happy, one good thing, even if a silly one, was gonna happen. Then 2020 came, crap year for everyone, I got added crap on top with my health going down in the drain, but somehow I managed. The game wouldn't release anytime soon anyway, so where's the hurry? So I said, well, it's ok, I really want it, so I planned to get the last 100 bucks and get it the next year. Last I heard it was on sale for 350/400$ and I had put the money on the side for the upgrade. 6 years ago now? more? And get a Carrack since I wanted a ship to play with friends that could carry a small fighter and/or some land vehicles. ![]() I wanted to melt my retaliator, bough what. Last year I missed the day the carrack went on sale. Also I have no clue if the flair is ok, but. Let this get lost in some dark corner of the internet. Cloud Imperium knows there are at least a few ultra-loyal players who would be willing and able to pay, so why not give them the option? With that said, you might want to reevaluate your priorities if you'd rather buy virtual spacecraft than a car or a life-changing vacation.Fair warning, just a rant, feel free to ignore, but I wanted to vent a bit. Star Citizen has racked up more than $200 million in crowdfunding since its crowdfunding campaign began in 2012 ($35 million of it in 2017 alone), and there are more than a few players who've sunk thousands of dollars into a game that hasn't even reached beta testing. It's not completely surprising that the studio would offer a pack like this. The kicker: this doesn't give you future ships, in-game currency or other perks, so you're still in trouble if you lose a vessel or see some later spacecraft that tickles your fancy. Unless you're buying this for a team, this is the kind of purchase you usually only make if you're either filthy rich or need an outlet for your mid-life crisis. Cloud Imperium has introduced a Legatus Pack that gives you 117 ships and 163 extras for $27,000 - you need to have spent over $1,000 on game content before you can even see the product page (without talking to customer service, at least). Just how committed are you to the perpetually unfinished Star Citizen? Committed enough that you'd be willing to take out a loan? If so, you're in luck.
